Like humans, dogs are also excited about this season. They also receive gifts from their favorite humans and they also dress up for the holidays.
One dog food company wanted to bring the holiday celebration to another notch by creating the first-ever Christmas song for dogs!
Tails.com produced a Christmas song entitled “Raise the Woof”, especially for the canine listeners. The producers of the song made sure that all dogs would love to listen to it. It is simply a compilation of all the sounds that the dogs love, like squeaking ball, commands and affirmations from their favorite humans, and some dog barks from their fellow dogs. The music video also includes several dogs doing the commands, dancing, and singing to the rhythm.
For humans, the song might be something that is boring and repetitive, but guess what? Dogs love hearing it! Dogs get excited when they see the music video, that they even try to do the commands and mimic the actions of the dogs on the video!
“Raise the Woof” song is based on the scientific research and advice of animal behaviorists. It has been observed that dogs love reggae and soft rock type of music.
To come up with the final cut, the producers invited 25 dogs to listen to over 500 sounds and observe their reactions. After compiling all the dogs’ reactions, they have made it into a pleasant song accompanied by a cute music video.
When Tails.com released the music video, they also decided to film the reactions of the dogs who saw it. Some dogs barked like crazy and jumped wildly, but some have simply tilted their heads with curiosity. Tails.com believes that these reactions of the dogs are indications that they also enjoy listening to music.
Tails.com is selling a limited edition of the song in vinyl records and the proceeds will be donated to Dudes and Dogs. Dudes and Dogs is an organization that bridges the gap between men and dogs by having time together.
