If you grew up with siblings, you’d surely know how this Golden Labrador named Zazu felt for his brother, a German Shorthaired Pointer named Walle.
Walle’s very energetic and is an absolute king of the trails, but he’s not a good swimmer. Zazu’s more laid-back, but he’s a strong and experienced swimmer.
This family was bonding by a lake one day, and of course, the ever-present game of fetch was inevitable. Mom threw a stick in the water and off Walle went to fetch it.
He struggled to bring the stick back because it was too far for him. Unknown to him, Zazu watched as he tried to retrieve the stick. When Walle came swimming back, Zazu took over.
The golden boy swam effortlessly, and in just a minute, Zazu had the stick in his mouth. He began to paddle back to shallow waters so he could give the stick to Walle.
Zazu’s actions are the sweetest, and they said a lot about how he adores and loves his brother. He knew what his brother’s weakness was, and he had no problem filling it for him.
Walle knew that his bro will always have his back, especially when it comes to deep bodies of water. He could always count on Zazu, and vice versa.
When Zazu reached the shore, he promptly dropped it. His mission was accomplished, so Walle could take it from there. Sure enough, Walle came rushing, picked up the stick, and pranced around.
He proudly showed off his accomplishments, to everyone’s delight. We have no doubt he thanked Zazu profusely for getting him that stick, otherwise, he’d have nothing to show for it.
Thankfully, Zazu was okay with his brother’s actions. What mattered was, he was safe and happy, so never mind the ridiculous prancing.
You’re the brother everyone dreams of, Zazu! Continue being a good and supportive brother to Walle.
Here’s to many more adventures in and out of the water, pets!
