Blue was once a street dog somewhere in Cappadocia, Turkey. He was found by Wes and Enes, a couple who were full-time travelers. They saw the puppy on the side of the road with wounds and blue paint all over his body. That’s where they got his name from.
Wes and Enes had no idea what happened to the poor pooch, but no one was around to help him. Eventually, a mother doggo came by them along with three other puppies who looked just like Blue. The mama dog sniffed him and left the puppy with the hoomans.
The couple knew that they couldn’t just leave Blue out there, so they decided to bring him to their hotel. They gave the pupper a nice warm bath to clean out all the paint when they got there. He looked very relaxed as he was soaked in water and just laid down on Enes’ lap.
Then they dried him up and bandaged his wounds. Blue was able to take a nap for a few hours. However, at two in the morning, the pup woke up crying and screaming because he was in so much pain. So Wes and Enes decided to bring Blue to a 24-hour vet.
They took him to give him all his shots and the medicine that he needed. The vet said that if they didn’t bring him in, Blue couldn’t have made it. The pupper stayed in the clinic for ten days until he got better. When he was ready to go home, Wes and Enes were there to pick him up.
The couple brought the pup along as they traveled the rest of Turkey. Blue was starting to transition from being a street dog to becoming a domestic animal. He loved being around his rescuers, and he began to show his true personality.
Wes and Enes were so in love with Blue, but they just couldn’t adopt him because of their lifestyle as travelers. They knew that the pupper needed a home where he could grow and have a routine. So they found him the perfect family and brought him all the way to Denver, Colorado.
When Blue-met his new hoomans, it was obvious that he was completely comfortable with them, including their Golden Retriever, who instantly became the doggo’s best friend. Thanks to Wes and Enes for rescuing this pupper, he now gets to be spoiled with so much love and affection in his forever home.
